Hi All!

I am so excited to be heading to the “I Can Do It” Conference in Toronto. This just began as an idea and a wish. I have been wanting to attend an event of this sort for quite awhile yet never got around to it until one day in November 2009, I said to myself “That’s it” I am going even if I’ll be by myself! I sent the invitation out to some of my friends to make it a “girl” weekend. Well, it turns out there will be 2 of my friends coming with me. We are going to have a blast! It will be an 8 hour drive and of course we need to add a bit of shopping in there.

Featured Authors include: Louise L. Hay, Colette Baron-Reid, Brian L. Weiss, M.D. Doreen Virtue, Iyanla Vanzant, Eldon Taylor, Marci Shimoff, Cheryl Richardson, Marcelle Pick, Dr. Christiane Northrup, Caroline Myss, Thomas Moore, Bruce H. Lipton, Ph.D. Lisa Williams, Marianne Williamson, Joan Z. Borysenko, Ph.D., Gregg Braden, Dan Caro, Barbara Carrellas, Sonia Choquette, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, Jonathan Ellerby, Ph.D., Robert Holden, Ph.D., John Holland, Deborah King, Loretta LaRoche, Denise Linn

Wow! What a lineup. I sure wish we could attend all of the workshops from everyone but we would need a week for that:) I’ve purchased the USB of all the workshops so I can listen to them over and over afterwards.

I will be blogging of my time at the event! So keep checking back to keep posted.

So now I need to ask you, What are you grateful for in your life? We all have something to be grateful for on this day. If your reading this, you definitely have something to be grateful for as you are alive:) Now go out there and FEEL alive!

Yours in Transformation:)

Overview of The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz

This book is a terrific read! By following these simple but challenging agreements we would see that life would not be as complicated.

1. Be Impeccable With Your Word
Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

2. Don’t Take Anything Personally
Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

3. Don’t Make Assumptions
Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

4. Always Do Your Best
Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.

Cheers:)

LOVE: The Four Letter Word That Heals

May 13

Tapping into our inner love can make all the difference in the world. When we feel compassion and love towards others no matter what the situation~ even though that maybe difficult in many issues ~ it can be handled by a little word called LOVE.
Surrounding the person/situation with love and feeling it in our hearts can make the healing process a lot easier and it gives us a sense of inner peace. Spreading love and kindness can enlighten our well being. When we are faced with difficulty, it is hard in the eye of the storm to look past the hurt and anger, this is the time when we need to stop and ask that the situation and person be surrounded by love.

Empathy is a word that I feel would help describe this. When we see things from a different perspective than from ours and try to understand it from another point of view, it opens up a whole new world. When we are narrow minded and think that our way is the only way and that things happen the way WE think they should, our possibilities are limited. It’s when we open our hearts and minds that we “SEE”. Our mindset determines the outcome. Being free to choose our thoughts and actions is immeasurable. Sure we can chose to look at things from just our own point of view and our thinking but when we become flexible enough, know that we are powerful and secure in our inner being that we do not NEED others permission to think, feel, act in a certain way. That we are free to empathize~ not sympathize. We can then understand and see where they are coming from and know that we are loved no matter what. Disagreements and arguing is a part of life, but let’s not stay in that ego state and move on. When we argue and bicker that is our egos! Kick the ego out of the way and let’s grow into the people that we want more of in this world! Share the LOVE!

Reconnecting with your infinite wisdom

May 1

Do you listen to your inner pull or nudge? What is it telling you? Are you dismissing what you are feeling based on outside perception and the belief that you cannot follow your inner wisdom?

Listening to your infinite wisdom leads to making the choices of your heart. Trust that your “inner knowing” will best guide you to your highest good.  You can tell if it is your ego by hearing words of greed  or “I” messages. The saying “Follow your Heart” is the same meaning as following your inner guidance. Reconnecting to your inner knowing, paying attention to your emotions and how you are feeling can help raise you to a new level. ~ And I do not mean that egotistically. By being aware of what you are feeling, can help you raise to a higher level of happiness by choosing your thoughts carefully. Becoming conscious of emotions and thoughts helps us reconnect to our infinite wisdom and live the life we so desire.

Carefully choosing happiness and what surrounds us has an overall impact on what we experience.  Our beliefs are just habits that have “proven” themselves to us to be true therefore influence our values and beliefs.  When we take a step back and ask ourselves to look at things from the other person’s point of view, we start to see that the world doesn’t revolve around our own perception and that perhaps, just maybe someone else might have a valid point ~ from their perspective. A lot of disagreements have to do with judgements, perceptions, miscommunication and different mindsets. When we become aware that there maybe be others that feel “justified”  in their beliefs and let go of the ego from always “being right” we then can find the peace within.

Trusting that our heart and intuition will guide us along the right path and feelings of love, gratitude, peace and happiness will be right there with us as we grow and learn from each other. Take the time today to reconnect to your infinite wisdom!

Embrace the Power in You!

Cheers :)
